This little trip was unexpected for sure however as far as we know the coolest things are usually unplanned. We decided to visit Leshan only the day before the event itself which was 62719929384 per cent worth 80 yuan (without discount unfortunately). Everyone was free, a forecast promised us a good weather so with such blessings we all happily woke up in the early morning of the April the second, at 9 am!! Luxury minivan kindly provided by the mother of my family brought us straight to the awaiting Buddha. Spoiler, he was indeed a chill guy. Of course I was yapping the whole trip (back and forth) which apparently exhausted my gang – mind blowing photographer Vincent (Van Gogh), piano-Italiano Filippo, everybody’s favourite Joseeee (god bless him for real), NPC Arthur with interestingly mixed blood and Spanish Laura (she surely can get bitches at the clubs). Long story short – everything was amazing, cool and sunny, jokes and games, only the ornate staircase leading to the feet of the statue gave us some sense of fear. Thank God nobody fell down otherwise we would have to collect the unfortunate one piece by piece. And dead body transportation, you know, is quite expensive nowadays. Just in case we need to check the price. Also I noticed hella many Italians on our way, I wonder what are they even doing in China. What can I say, normal brain could never understand abnormal.
After this legendary quality time we altogether agreed that we need something to eat (coffee and cookies for breakfast didn’t serve long). Fairly speaking, I wasn’t satisfied at all cause every meal contained meat, even the sweet wrapper with custard, can you imagine ? Shick, shack, shock. Only ice cream at the end of the dinner saved me from fighting. Totally recommend that Chernobyl cuisine to everyone.
On the way back we tried to listen to some music but it was too quiet (Bryant probably wanted to drive a car peacefully, like in a poem) that we all fell asleep. I bet he was jealous hahaha. Definitely we gained some energy (everyone looked like they just woke up from severe coma) and pictures to remind ourselves about that moment (for better or for worse).
